About The Owner
Cara has been growing small businesses and supporting entrepreneurs since 2011. From startups to six-figure successes, she's navigated managing multiple ventures - from dentistry to FinTech to beauty to mechanical contracting - often reinvesting profits into new endeavors and, when necessary, simultaneously maintaining regular employment.
When the pandemic hit in March 2020, it brought her bustling life to a standstill. After being laid off from a beloved career, she decided it was time to focus on what truly mattered: family and building a business that offered both stability and flexibility. This lead to the creation of Prestige Virtual Assistants.
At Prestige, she empowers small business owners to achieve their goals while maintaining a balanced life. Her mission is to streamline operations, drive complex projects to completion while handling every day tasks, freeing up your time to focus on your core objectives. She is a fierce champion for her CEOs, encouraging them to dream big while also helping them make a plan for success.
In her spare time, she is "mama" to 4 handsome boys and one 95-lb German Shepherd named Ruger. She recently celebrated 10 years of marriage with her better half, Jake, who she has known since middle school! Her family is originally from Florida, but she has called Texas home for the last decade. When she's not running Prestige, you can find her in front of her 2006 Baldwin Classical piano, on the sidelines cheering for her kids playing football, curled up with a good book and an Old Fashioned, and trying to figure out what's for dinner.
